Powder Springs to celebrate Fourth of July

The 19th Annual Powder Springs Independence Day Celebration in the Powder springs Town Square in downtown Powder Springs will be July 4 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The free event will feature more than 10 food booths, an entertainment stage and a variety of children’s activities.

Participants can bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the entertainment while children play on a variety of interactive inflatables. Mayor Pat Vaughn will deliver a patriotic program, followed by a fireworks show. Scott Thompson will kick the concert off with an acoustic set followed by the seven-piece Glow Band.
