A wastewater manhole overflow, resulting in an estimated 370 gallons discharged into a tributary of Willeo Creek, occurred at 6:52 a.m. on Friday at 4258 Glenforest Way in the Roswell portion of east Cobb.

The overflow, which was the result of roots, was stopped at 9:50 a.m.

Water system workers used a jet trailer to unstop the main line, raked and limed the spill area.

What is with all the sewer over flow reports in the MDJ this year?

Something political? Precursor to another chance to spend taxpayer money to come?

Will be staying tuned.
