Alternative Fueled Vehicles show Monday

Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols announced the 4th annual Alternative Fueled Vehicles Roadshow will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway in the Cumberland area.

Participants can join Commissioner Echols and Clean Cities Georgia for a statewide vehicle showcase tour and a series of presentations on the economics and practicality of implementing alternative fueled transportation solutions. Suppliers and manufacturers of electric, natural gas, propane, ethanol and biodiesel fuels and vehicles will deliver a series of short presentations. There will also be live onsite vehicle displays of cars and trucks powered by clean fuel.

The Roadshow will continue at the Clayton City Hall and Judicial Center in Clayton on June 24, the Brenau Downtown Center in Gainesville on June 25 and the Columbus Convention Center in Columbus on June 26. For more information or to register, visit
