Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Marietta with Rev. Denise Beltzner officiating.
During her lifetime, she was a member of the East Point Garden Club, Garden Club of Georgia, and the International Designers of America.
She was a member of the Andrew Houser Chapter DAR, Marietta, where she was the current Vice Chairman of the American Indians for the state of GA. She was an avid supporter of the American Indian Youth and oversaw the production of a video about the American Youth Camps in Arizona. She was a member of the NATIONAL SOCIETY DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION since Oct. 16, 1947. Her favorite motto was the one used by the NSDAR: GOD, HOME, AND COUNTRY.
She had been a longtime member of Central Presbyterian in Atlanta and was currently a member of First Presbyterian Church in Marietta, GA and the Chapel Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her son, John S. Bretch (Shirley); two grandsons, Alex (Sara) and Jason (Allyson); brother-in-law, Bob Bretch (Delores) of St. Louis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
