School of Georgia Ballet begins its Summer Intensive program

During the month of June, The School of Georgia Ballet will be hosting their Summer Intensive for intermediate and advanced student dancers from around the state.

Dancers will spend four weeks immersed in learning ballet technique, choreography, jazz, modern, and many other disciplines. The program lead by Associate School Director, Fiona Fairrie, will feature guest instructors with international performing and teaching careers.

Guest instructors include Ivonne Lemus, Sabir Yapparov, Rebecca Metzger Hirsch, Tally Balakirsky, Jennifer Smiles, Robert Hilburn and Nicole Johnson. The resident and guest faculty will instruct over fifty dancers of ages 10-18 during June’s Summer Intensive.
