KENNESAW — Chuy’s, a Tex-Mex restaurant that will open in Kennesaw at 585 Barrett Parkway in July, and Top Dog Pet Boutique, 2615 George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw, will host a charity event benefitting PAWSitive Supporters on June 14 from noon to 4 p.m.

For a $5 or more donation to PAWSitive Supporters, Chuy’s will take a picture of participants, frame it and hang it permanently on the “Dog Wall” in the Kennesaw restaurant. Participants will also receive a gift card for a free appetizer at the new Tex-Mex restaurant, which serves family recipes from south Texas, New Mexico and the Mexican border towns.

PAWSitive Supporters is an organization that helps homeless and shelter animals and raises funds to help provide comfort for shelter animals based on requests from shelter management as well as provides transportation costs for pets to out of state no-kill rescues and forever homes.
