CUMBERLAND — Cobb police say they pulled the body of a man from the Chattahoochee River on Monday. Authorities were called to the Sandy Point National Recreation Area on Akers Drive in the Cumberland area at about 7:20 p.m. Sunday night in reference to a possible drowning, but they were unable to do a full-scale search because of water conditions and low visibility, according to Cobb police Officer Mike Bowman.

The man, identified as Ibrahim Sanusi of Stone Mountain, 22, was found Monday near where he had last been seen, Bowman said.

No foul play is suspected, Bowman said.
