Kenneth Roberts, age 68, died June 5, 2014, after a long battle with lung cancer. The body was cremated with no service. Wayne grew up in Mableton and attended South Cobb High School. In his early years, he was a musician and with a group of friends formed a rock and roll band in which he was the lead guitarist and vocalist. The band played in local venues, as well as many cities in the Southeast. He was preceded in death by his father, William Hubert Roberts and mother Ruby Gunter Roberts. He is succeeded by a son, Kenneth Wayne Rowedder and wife Natalie, along with two grandsons, Kenneth and Ryan Rowedder. His dear ex-wife Kay Rowedder and a friend of many years, Al Alphin of Atlanta.
