WEST COBB — Cobb police are investigating what appeared to be a murder-suicide outside a Kroger in west Cobb.

Authorities received multiple 911 calls just after 5:30 p.m. Friday about a shooting at the grocery store at 3600 Dallas Highway, according to Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb Police. The Kroger is in a shopping center across the street from The Avenue West Cobb mall.

Pierce said when officers arrived, they discovered the bodies of a man and a woman who had died from apparent gunshot wounds. He said they were found to the left of the store near a fire lane.

They have been identified as Bruce Strange, 52, and Paula Strange, 54, both of Kennesaw, Pierce said. He said he could not confirm who the suspected shooter was, but said authorities are not are not looking for additional suspects.
