More than 160 Rotarian volunteers, golfers, and guests gathered on May 19 at the Marietta Country Club for the The 26th Annual S.A. White Oil Company Charity Golf Tournament hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Marietta Metro and Marietta.

“With our two clubs working together, there is definitely a spark in Rotary spirit and fellowship that greatly benefit our community,” said Kim Gresh, owner of S.A. White Oil Company and member of Marietta Metro Rotary.

Combined, these two clubs have served the communities of Marietta, Cobb County, and beyond for 129 years. More than $30,000 in proceeds were raised for local and international charities. Since 1989, the annual golf classic has been hosted by Marietta Metro Rotary and in 2014 a partnership with The Rotary Club of Marietta was formed.

“We are proud to come together for great causes,” said Jim Boone, president of Marietta Metro Rotary. “It made sense to join forces in the Rotary tradition of helping people, locally and globally.”
