A 33-year-old Powder Springs man was arrested Saturday by Cobb County Police and, according to a warrant, was charged with one count each of child molestation, aggravated child molestation and aggravated sexual battery, which are all felonies.

Almanza Antonio Tapia was booked into Cobb County jail the same day. He remains in jail and his bond has not been set, according to the Cobb County jail log.

The victim, a minor, said she was assaulted by Tapia at the neighborhood pool of a neighborhood in Powder Springs. The warrant says Tapia later went home with the girl and assaulted her again, exposing himself.
