Venture Homes recently named Sean G. Randall, a native of Marietta, its chief operating officer.

Randall most recently was the founder and president of Total Property Advisors LLC, a property management, valuation and marketing firm that provides real estate consulting and development services to several banks and other property related firms. Current banking clients include large money center banks and smaller regional banks located in Georgia and Florida.

In 2008, Randall was named senior vice president for SunTrust Bank and was responsible for re-establishing and managing the commercial and residential real estate owned “REO” department for the bank. His team sold more than $225 million in REO assets in a 15-month “start-up” period, and he ultimately directed a $500-plus million portfolio.

Prior to this banking experience, he started Randall Communities LLC and Randall Custom Homes. From November 1998 through 2008, the mission of the Randall Companies was to develop and construct the single-family communities and homes in metro-Atlanta. Developments and construction projects included The Preserve at Vinings Walk, Twin Creeks, Reece Farms, Grayson Ridge and Tanglewood North, all located in Cobb County; Meadow Brook, located in southeast Cherokee County; and Riverwood, located in east Paulding County.

Since its inception, Randall Communities has closed more than 285 homes and several hundred lots representing $100-plus million in residential real estate in eight different planned communities. Randall has also constructed several multi-million dollar homes in the Buckhead and Sandy Springs area.

He brings more than 28 years of finance, marketing, development and construction experience to each real estate project. He was directly responsible for construction of 1,900 homes and the zoning and development of nearly 4,000 lots during his tenure in Atlanta as division president for Morrison Homes, a national homebuilder and chief operating officer for Marietta-based Traton Homes.

Previously, he was employed by Arvida Company, where he served in several capacities during his nine-year tenure. He was the assistant treasurer and then director of acquisitions while in Boca Raton, Fla., and most recently vice president and project general manager for various planned communities including two golf course projects in Atlanta and Dallas, Texas. Before joining Arvida, he was with Cox Cable Communications as a project manager.
