The Earl Smith Strand Theater will feature the Jimmy Real Band on Thursday at 8 p.m. for their debut concert and EP release.

In season four of the television show “The Voice” in 2012, lead singer James Shealy of Marietta was one of about 40,000 singers from across the U.S. He made it to the blind auditions and appeared on the March season premier show. A Kickstarter campaign raised about $10,000 and the band was able to produce an EP and merchandise. Shealy is also a worship leader at Riverstone Church in Kennesaw. The Jimmy Real Band is available for download on iTunes.

CD’s and merchandise will also be for sale.

The Strand is at 117 N Park Square, Marietta.
