Two Marietta men have been accused of robbing a trio of victims at gunpoint on the evening of May 16.

Police say Michael Dayquan Armstead, 20, and Machion Anthony Halyard, 23, both used .38 caliber revolvers to subdue two victims that had come to their location in order to purchase items advertised online. While Halyard pointed his gun at the victims and demanded their valuables, Armstead emptied their pockets, investigators say.

According to police, the two suspects took an iPhone and keys from the first victim, a wallet containing bank cards, cash and IDs from the second victim and another set of keys from the third victim.

Both men are in Cobb police custody. Armstead has been charged with three counts of armed robbery, while Halyard has been charged with three counts of armed robbery and three counts of aggravated assault with the attempt to rob.
