Jennifer Hernandez, principal of Marietta Center for Advanced Academics, received the Elementary School Principal Leadership Award from the International Association for STEM Leaders at its inaugural invitation only STEM leadership summit held April 24-25, 2014, in Washington, D.C. The International Association for STEM Leaders is globally recognized for creating a “golden standard” for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) excellence in traditional and non-traditional educational settings for all Pre-kindergarten through adult students.

“Ms. Hernandez is very deserving of this recognition,” said Dr. Emily Lembeck, Marietta City Schools Superintendent.
