The Senior Wellness Center, 1150 Powder Springs St. in Marietta, will have “Understanding Blood Pressure” for adults age 55-plus June 4 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Blood pressure is one of the most important measures of long term health. More than weight, the range of blood pressure can give a quick picture of health. Kerri Groen with Assisted Choice will help explain what blood pressure readings mean and how to improve them.

The event is free, but registration is required. Call (770) 528-5355.
