Sewer overflow reported in Kennesaw

The Cobb County Water System reported a sewer overflow occurred in the county May 16.

A wastewater manhole overflow, resulting in 810 gallons discharged into a tributary of Proctor Creek, occurred at 6:59 a.m. at 4273 Monticello Way in Kennesaw. The overflow, which was the result of debris, was stopped at 1:45 p.m.

How do they always know exactly to the gallon how much sewerage is spilled?
