Benefits of Tea & Antique Teacup Swap

The East Cobb Senior Center, 3322 Sandy Plains Road in Marietta, will have the Benefits of Tea & Antique Teacup Swap, sponsored by Heritage of Sandy Plains, on May 27 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for adults ages 55-plus.

Dr. Andrew Kurt will speak on a portion of his “6 Glasses That Changed the World” lecture focusing on tea. Brielle Prezanno of Vineyard Café will also speak on the benefits of tea while hosting a tea sampling. Savories and sweets will be provided.

Participants are also asked to bring a teacup and saucer to swap with their table partner. Hats are optional. Cost is $4 for Cobb residents and $5 for non-residents.
