According to police, Cynthia Hall, of Power Springs, faces a misdemeanor reckless conduct charge after they say she shot a Glock 19 9 mm pistol after a dog escaped from a neighbor’s yard and three children began chasing the animal to contain it.

Police say the bullet traveled across the street, passed through the gutter over the rear door of a neighboring home and hit the side of the home.

Hall has been released from the Cobb County jail on $1,000 bond.
