Sewer overflow reported in east Cobb

MARIETTA — The Cobb County Water System reported a sewer overflow in the county Wednesday.

A wastewater manhole overflow, resulting in 520 gallons discharged into an unnamed tributary of the Chattahoochee River, occurred at 9:57 a.m. Wednesday at 3998 Loch Highland Pass NE in east Cobb. The overflow, which was the result of debris, was stopped at 11:20 a.m.
