A school resource officer arrested a Kennesaw Mountain High School student April 18 and charged her with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

Katilyn Rose Yaccarino, born 1995, of Kennesaw, was released from Cobb jail on $5,000 bail following the arrest, which happened at the school between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. The warrant says Yaccarino was found with 1.47 ounces of suspected marijuana packaged in three separate baggies in her car. According to police, she also had $560 in cash on her and two digital scales.

The arresting officer said he’d received several complaints about the student selling marijuana at the school.
