MARIETTA — Cobb Police executed a search warrant at noon Tuesday for the 2006 burgundy Honda witnesses said was driven by Geddy Kramer, 19, of Acworth, to the FedEx sorting facility in Kennesaw.

Cobb Police say Kramer drove up to the security shack and opened fire on his coworkers before taking his own life early Tuesday morning.

Inside the car, Cobb Police found 55 12-guage shotgun shells, electronic storage devices and maps, as well as Kramer’s driver’s license and FedEx employee badge.

On Wednesday, Cobb Police spokesman Mike Bowman said Kramer left a suicide note behind, but did not reveal its contents.

On the list of evidence found in Kramer’s care was personal writings on a Post-it note.

Before entering the warehouse, Kramer reportedly shot the guard, Christo-pher Spark-man, 28, of Canton.

As of 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, Sparkman’s medical status had improved from critical to serious.

Sparkman, who was shot at close range in the stomach, underwent another round of surgery Thursday morning.

A WellStar Health System source said the successful surgery is the reason for his improved condition.

Jamie Sparkman, the victim’s wife, released a statement following the status announcement: “We have been overwhelmed by the show of support from the community. My husband, Christopher Sparkman, is out of surgery and by the grace of God on the road to recovery. The recovery process will be a long one, but he will have the love and support of his family each step of the way.”
