Root House to have annual plant sale

The Root House Museum & Garden Annual Plant Sale will be May 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and feature heirloom, native, old-fashioned and pass-along plants for sale. Master Gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions at the Root House Museum, 145 Denmead Street NW in Marietta.

At 10 a.m. on May 2, Cobb County Master Gardener Jack Driskell will present, “Rosemary, Thyme and Friends.” There will be garden to table recipes and tastings throughout the morning presented by the RHM&G Plant Sale Committee.

At 10 a.m. May 3, Cobb County Master Gardener Marcelle David will give a presentation on pots for the porch, deck or patio.
