Marietta Visitors Bureau recently launched a newly redesigned website at that includes an online community sourced calendar. The new website features local attractions along with shopping, dining and hotel options to help visitors take advantage of all Marietta has to offer. The site is easier to navigate and more useful than the previous site.

One of the most exciting features of the website is the community-sourced calendar that can also be found at All local businesses, merchants, charities and individuals are encouraged to visit the online calendar and add their upcoming community events. The Visitors Bureau saw the need for a comprehensive online calendar that was accessible to everyone in the community for either posting events or discovering what was coming up in the area. It is an ideal way for organizations to promote their events through free publicity. The free online resource provides a wealth of art, cultural and recreational attractions in the Marietta area.

To submit an event to the Marietta Calendar of Events, visit and click the green button labeled “+Post Your Event.” Once the event has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the Marietta Visitors Bureau and upon approval posted thereafter. The inclusion of photographs or other graphics with each event submission is highly recommended.
