Brian Russell Beran of Marietta has been charged with felony aggravated assault after police say he lifted a woman off the floor and slammed her to the ground causing her right collarbone to break.

The victim needed emergency medical care and has been “permanently disfigured” with a 6-inch permanent scar on her shoulder, according to an arrest warrant.

Beran has been released from the Cobb jail on $25,000 bond.
