Cobb Police arrested 19-year-old Jake Boynton of Marietta April 8 and charged him with possession of cocaine.

Police say Boynton was driving down Mabry Road when he was stopped for driving with a broken tail light.

Once stopped, police say Boynton was found with two opened bottles of liquor in the car. Boynton agreed to take a breathalyzer test, and he blew a reading of 0.030 grams of alcohol in his system.

According to the warrant, Police found a small bag of suspected cocaine in Boynton’s wallet, marijuana, and other drug related paraphernalia after they searched his car.

Boynton faces several misdemeanors and a felony for the possession of cocaine. He was released the same day of his arrest on $10,000 bond.
