Cobb Police say Shaquan Johnson assaulted a man with a wood-handled steak knife with a 5-inch blade after being separated from a previous physical altercation.

At 9:15 p.m. April 8, Johnson was arrested at his residence in the Cobblestone Apartment Homes on Pat Mell Road, west of South Cobb Drive.

According to the warrant, Johnson stabbed the man twice in the left shoulder and also punched him in the face at least once, causing a small cut to the upper lip.

Johnson was charged with a misdemeanor of simple battery and a felony count of aggravated assault. He has not been released from the Cobb County jail, although he was granted a $15,000 bond.
