Ann was a 1996 recipient of the BellSouth Mobility Excalibur Award for initiating and supervising production of 1996 Olympic campaign used by BellSouth Mobility markets throughout the country. After 5 years at Bell South Mobility, Ann finished her career back on the agency side, serving as Senior Account Executive for Publicis handling the southeast division of Sprint PCS. Ann’s career account list included a variety of diverse industries including Northside Hospital, Kimberly-Clark, National Tire Wholesale, Holiday Inn, and Sprint. Ann was born March 8, 1946 in Marietta, Georgia and attended Marietta High School. Ann is predeceased by her parents Elizabeth Jewell (Mitchell) Parker and Eugene Robinson Parker, longtime residents of Marietta, GA, her first husband and father to her two children, Jackie Lee Turner, and her step daughter Shannon McCoy of Atlanta. Ann is survived by her husband, Matthew McCoy of Brookhaven, GA, her daughter Alyson (Turner) Stewart (Dan Stewart), son Jason Turner (Sharilyn Turner), as well as two step children, Erin (McCoy) Sjostrom and Matthew McCoy, III, six grandchildren: Maggie Sjostrom, Will Sjostrom, Lauren Turner, Owen Turner, Hugh Stewart and Cole Stewart, as well as siblings Michael Parker, Carol O’Quinn and Tom Parker and innumerable cousins, nieces and nephews. Ann’s grandchildren were the joy of her life and she moved heaven and earth to spend her time with them. Her granddaughter Lauren Turner has Cystic Fibrosis. They each dedicated a large amount of their time to her care, comfort and comic relief. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 13th at First Baptist Church of Marietta located at 148 Church Street, Marietta, GA 30060 at 2pm ET.
