POWDER SPRINGS — Cobb Police say two men and a woman were dealing cocaine out of a motel that rents rooms at weekly rates near Powder Springs.

On March 28, Cobb Police arrested Adrian Morgan of Powder Springs, Bryant Nothington of Marietta and Jane Francios of Marietta at the Lorene Lodge off of Austell Road north of Windy Hill road.

According to the warrant, police found a small plastic bag with suspected cocaine along with two scales, empty pill capsules and a .45-caliber handgun in one of the hotel rooms.

“All items located next to the cocaine and in the room were consistent with drug trade,” the warrant said.

All three people face charges of possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, criminal trespass and possession of firearm during the commission of a felony.

Morgan was also charged with a probation violation. He was not granted a bond and remains in the Cobb jail.

Francios was granted a $10,000 bond, but remains at the Cobb jail.

Dear MDJ, please check your facts closer (or use MapQuest) in your reports. Austell Road north of Windy Hill is no where near Powder Springs.

This motel is not in Powder Springs. It's Marietta.
