I think a day is not wasted if you learn something, so congratulations to Ms. Acevedo for picking up a new word from Dr. Price.
I agree that Mr. Obama is weak and projects weakness. I think a lot of the media who helped him into office, like Barbara Walters expecting a new “Messiah” or the more grounded liberal media satisfied he was not related to Bush, are admitting that now. If only he was just weak.
I don’t know that you can say Russia took Crimea because we have a weak president, but they were certainly not deterred by him. It is interesting that Obama “showed” Putin by sending prominent homosexuals to represent America at the Olympics, and Putin “showed” Obama by scarfing up several thousand square miles of territory.
Way back in 2009, in Obama’s first big foreign policy exploit, we had the Obama/Clinton Russian “Reset.” Then in 2012, Obama was caught on a live mike groveling, in my opinion, before the outgoing Russian president, saying, “Give me space and I can be more flexible for Vladimir (Putin).”
How does that look to Ms. Acevedo (and any potential adversary or ally)?
There is no military option, and I don’t think Dr. Price suggested differently. Remember the red line Mr. Obama said he didn’t draw in Syria? We are supposed to be backing the opposition there, and Assad is wiping them out handily.
Remember Obama taking a selfie with the lady leader of Denmark at the Mandela funeral?
