Out of Box Theatre will present “Art” by Broadway playwriter Yasmina Reza on Thursday and Friday.

The story revolves around three friends, played by John Stanier, Dave Lauby and Aaron Strand, who find their previously solid friendship on shaky ground when Serge invests in an expensive, abstract painting, raising questions about the nature of art and friendship. The purchase reveals unsettling secret opinions and conflicting worldviews. As their arguments shift from the theoretical to the personal, this Tony Award-winning comedy examines the pressures friends place on each other – and how different values can transform relationships.

“Art” runs Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $17 to 22 in advance or $20 to 25 at the door. For more information and tickets, visit www.outofboxtheatre.com or call (678) 653-4605.
