Smyrna author to talk at country club today

The Cobb Library Foundation will present Smyrna author Ann Hite for a book signing, lunch and discussion today at 11:30 a.m. at the Marietta Country Club.

Hite has written short stories, personal essays and book reviews for numerous publications. Her debut novel, “Ghost On Black Mountain,” was inspired by generations of tales handed down through her family in Appalachia and won her the title of Georgia Author of the Year in 2012.

Tickets are $25 per person and are available at www.cobblibraryfoundation.org.
