The World Mission Society Church of God helped the City of Marietta spruce up on March 9. The World Mission Society Church of God brought more than 100 volunteers to help improve the look and safety of Custer Park, Birney Park, and the surrounding areas of the Marietta Power location in the creeks and drainage areas.

The removed litter and debris from three creeks, picked up litter in surrounding neighborhood streets and side-walks and removed litter and debris in the creek area near Marietta Power.

“The city is grateful for their work to improve and beautify our city. The giving of their congregation’s time and efforts is a mission that benefits the citizens of our City,” said Mayor Thunder Tumlin.
