Kirby Clements Pruett Jr., 47 of Palm Springs, CA. formerly of Marietta, GA. passed away, Friday, March 14, 2014, following a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Montgomery, AL., attended Mount Vernon Christian Academy in Atlanta, GA., and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in Industrial Management. After graduation, he took a job with IBM and pursued a career in sales. He excelled in sales and continued in the field with several different companies and settings, with his final years spent working in the Hospitality industry in California. He is survived by his son, Austin Pruett, parents, Mary and Kirby Pruett, brother, Daniel Pruett, sister, Vaughn Pruett Bell, her husband, John, their children, Taylor, Meredith, and Jack. Other survivors include an aunt, 2 uncles, and 7 cousins and their families. A memorial Service will be held at Eastside Baptist Church on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at 2 o’clock, 2450 Lower Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA 30068. The family will receive visitors at the church following the service. The family suggests donations made in Kirby’s memory be made to the Hanson House - a respite home for the relatives of critically ill patients.

May God's Presence fill you with strength and peace as you grieve.
