Luke Schniederjans shot 77 to earn medalist honors and lead Harrison to a second-place finish in the North Georgia Invitational on Tuesday.

The Hoyas started the day in third place but passed Roswell while shooting a second-day score of 316 for a 639 total. Peachtree Ridge won the event with a team total of 629.

Schniederjans won the individual event with a two-day total of 152. Sam Maryland shot 78 and tied for second with a two-day total of 154.

Matt McMahon shot 79 while Nick Bell and Will Leanos each added 82s.

The Hoyas will play in the Kell Invitational at Eagle Watch on Saturday.

Walton 155, Mount Paran 162: Michael Sheahan and Andrew Yowell each shot 38 to lead the Raiders to a dual match victory at Indian Hills Country Club.

Garrett Neptune shot 39 and Kelvin Lee posted 40.

Walton will travel to Bradshaw Farms today to face Sequoyah.

GIRLS GOLF

Walton 125, Etowah 135:
Autumn Gabe shot 37 to lead the Lady Raiders past the Lady Eagles in a dual match at Indian Hills Country Club

Abbey Williams shot 40, Peyton Melcher 48 and Merideth Singer 52 to round out the scoring.

Melanie Talbot led Etowah with a 45.

Walton (3-0-1) will play in the Georgia Lady Invitational at Chateau Elan on Saturday.

Harrison 133, North Paulding 178: Caroline McLeod shot 39 to lead the Lady Hoyas to a dual-match victory at Brookstone Golf Club.

Ana Garcia and Jordan Abbott each shot 47.

Harrison (3-0) will travel to Hard Labor Creek for the Georgia Peach tournament on Saturday.

BASEBALL

Mount Paran Christian 12, Mount Zion-Carroll 0 (5 inn.):
Matt Norton’s three-run homer in the first inning set the tone and the Eagles rolled to a Region 6A victory.

Isaac Phillips added a two-run homer in the second and Mount Paran Christian scored in every inning as the Eagles improved to 9-2, 7-0 in region play.

Taylor Trammell was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI, Jack Rowan and Emoni Williams each added doubles and Reid Massi added a hit and an RBI. Norton also added a sacrifice fly for his fourth run batted in.

Rowan pitched the first three innings, allowing two hits and striking out six for the win.

BOYS SOCCER

Pebblebrook 4, Campbell 3:
Arnold Martinez’s header midway through the second half lifted the Falcons to a Region 4AAAAAA victory over the Spartans.

Martinez finished the night with three goals and Eduardo Garcia added the other in the win.

Edgar Cortes made eight saves in goal including one on a penalty kick.

Walker 5, Lovett 1: Zach Hamilton and Kalim Kalla each scored two goals to lead the Wolverines to an Area 7A victory.

Trailing 1-0, Hamilton scored both of his goals leading up to halftime for a 2-1 lead.

Kalla scored his first goal 1 minute into the second half on a pass from Parker Smith.

Kalla’s second goal was assisted by River Smith.

Parker Smith scored the final goal with an assist from Jacob Hathaway.

Mount Paran Christian 9, Christian Heritage 0: Led by Alex Gernatt, the Eagles got their scoring out of the way in the first half.

Gernatt scored four goals and assisted on a fifth in the Area 7A game. Matthew Hampton added a goal and three assists, while Cooper Ingram, Cody Kington, Taylor Dunn and Jack Crone also scored.

Chance Hogan saved the lone shot he faced for Mount Paran (8-1, 5-0).

Allatoona 3, East Paulding 0: Darnell Oliver scored one goal and assisted on two others to lead Allatoona to a Region 5AAAAA win.

The Buccaneers (7-0-1, 5-0) remain unbeaten on the season. They had a two goal halftime lead behind goals from Hunter Baird and Oliver. Griff Rousseau scored in the second half. Camden Baye assisted on Oliver’s goal.

Marco Castillo had three saves for Allatoona.

Harrison 3, McEachern 1: Harrison rallied from a 1-0 deficit to post the Region 4AAAAAA home win.

Brett Mace assisted on Taylor Mathews’ first-half goal, leading to a 1-all halftime tie.

Andrew Deltac assisted Bryce Sanders and Nathan Kaminski helped on Kyle Phlegar’s goal for the Hoyas (5-3-2, 3-0).

Grayson Guertin had two saves for Harrison.

Kennesaw Mountain 3, South Cobb 0: The Mustangs earned their first Region 4AAAAAA victory of the season with the home win.

Edgar Martinez had a goal and an assist to pace Kennesaw Mountain (3-4, 1-2), which led 2-0 at halftime. Alexis Guerrero and Landon Eduna each scored.

Trey Whittemore had four saves for Kennesaw Mountain.

GIRLS SOCCER

Kennesaw Mountain 10, South Cobb 0:
Tayler Hartrampf scored two goals and added an assist as the Lady Mustangs rolled to a Region 4AAAAAA victory.

Madeline Monroe and Jasmine Lanuza each added a goal and an assist.

Olivia Guajardo, Cheyenne Golden, Maddy Giroir, Vannah Moreland, Mooregan Elder and Claire Williams each scored a goal.

Allatoona 1, East Paulding 0: Ash Das scored the lone goal early in the second half to lift the Lady Buccaneers to a Region 5AAAAA victory.

Das took a pass from Willough Davis and scored, despite a collision with the East Paulding goaltender.

Whitefield Academy 4, North Cobb Christian 0: Frances Hamilton scored two goals and added two assists as the Lady Wolfpack earned their first win of the season.

Sophie Kementher and Mary Kendrick each scored a goal and Katherine Bracher added an assist.

Lauren Burke earned the shutout in goal.

Harrison 10, McEachern 0: Treva Aycock scored four goals, setting the tone as the Lady Hoyas’ defense recorded its fourth straight shutout and sixth on the season.

Lizzie Sieracki added a pair of goals, while Melissa Cameron, Levi Liens, Lauren D’Ambra and Madi Good also scored. Good and Austin Bonham each had two assists.

Allison Leone and Kelsey Daugherty split the goalkeeping duties for Harrison (9-0, 3-0 Region 4AAAAAA).

Hillgrove 2, North Cobb 1: Sydney Nelson scored both of the Lady Hawks’ goals, pacing their comeback effort in the Region 4AAAAAA game.

After Shani Jefferson put North Cobb (3-4, 2-2) on the board in the fifth minute, Nelson scored the equalizer in the seventh minute and the eventual game-winner in the 53rd.

Abby Whiteside made three saves for Hillgrove (5-4-1, 2-2).

Mount Paran Christian 2, Christian Heritage 0: The Lady Eagles remained unbeaten in Area 7A.

Ally Attencio and Ellie Ingram scored for Mount Paran (5-4, 4-0).

BOYS LACROSSE

Lassiter 15, Wheeler 3:
Pierce Smith scored four goals with two assists to lead the Trojans past their east Cobb rivals.

Brendan Flatt and Sam Perryman each scored two goals with an assist, Will McAllister scored two goals, Tom Barre finished with a goal and two assists and Janosch Spohner added a goal and an assist.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Kennesaw Mountain 21, Campbell 1:
The Lady Mustangs raced out to a 15-1 first-half lead and won the Area 1AAAAAA game handily.

Abbi Barnett and Megan Dreyer each had a role in eight goals. Barnett scored seven and assisted on one, while Dreyer scored twice and assisted on six.

Amanda Griffin added three goals and an assist, while Monica Hicks made five saves for Kennesaw Mountain (5-3, 3-0).

BOYS TENNIS

Lassiter 5, Roswell 0:
Chris Yun won his singles match 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Trojans to a Region 5AAAAAA victory.

Jonathan Jemison won 6-1, 6-1 and Daniel Yun won by forfeit.

The doubles team of Brandon Wortkrotter and Ben Anderson won 7-5, 6-2. Zack Littke-Smith and Nick Queen won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.

Lassiter (5-1) will host Cherokee on Thursday.

Pope 5, Sprayberry 0: The Greyhounds stayed perfect on the season with a sweep over Sprayberry in a Region 7AAAAA match.

Marc Galernter had the toughest battle of them all at No. 2 singles, needing three sets to defeat Sprayberry’s Grant Tucker 6-7 (5), 6-0 and 10-6 in a super tiebreaker.

Dom Allan won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Matt White won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 and Ryan Heins and Mark Fisher won 6-0, 6-0 at No. doubles. Pope (9-0, 7-0), which hosts Osborne today, won No. 2 doubles won by forfeit.

Walton 5, Wheeler 0: The Raiders did not drop a set in winning the Region 5AAAAAA matchup.

Eric Wagasky (6-2, 6-4), Trevor Croyder (6-2, 6-3) and Bailey Honig (6-1, 6-1) won the singles points.

Jonathan He and Lieb Sauermann won 6-0, 6-2 at one doubles match, while the other team of Alex McNeel and Kevin Zhang won 6-1, 6-0.

Walton (7-1, 5-1) will step out of region play today to host Centennial before hosting Etowah in its final 5AAAAAA match.

Mount Paran Christian 4, Mount Pisgah Christian 1: No. 3 singles was the lone blemish for the Eagles as they won the Area 4A match.

Sam Fulkerson (6-0, 6-4) and Will Burton (6-3, 6-2) won in singles play, as did both doubles teams. Brent Foster and Adam Rothrock won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1, while Michael Sloan and Jared Knox won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2.

Mount Paran (4-1, 3-0) will host Excel Christian on Thursday.

Kennesaw Mountain 5, Pebblebrook 0: The Mustangs eased to the Region 4AAAAAA victory, never allowing more than three games in any one match.

Justin Thomas and Mike Deatrick allowed one game apiece in their respective singles matches, while Omkar Mayur allowed three in his.

Both doubles teams — Vangeli Katsoudas and Justin Saunders, Alex Blinkhorn and Spencer Woods — recorded shutouts.

Kennesaw Mountain (6-5, 4-1) will travel to Lovett today.

Whitefield Academy 5, King’s Ridge Christian 0: The Wolfpack were never threatened in the Area 4A match.

Bennett Shilling and the team of Jay DeShong and David Lemasters each posted shutouts, while Justin Samples and Matthew Landry allowed four games in their respective singles wins.

The team of Ruben Thomas and Holden Hosch won via forfeit.

GIRLS TENNIS

Hillgrove 5, South Cobb 0:
Jessica Cantrell and the doubles teams of Emily Dubel with Sarah Simm and Caroline Beldon with Jordan Krueger each won matches 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Lady Hawks to a Region 4AAAAAA victory.

Chioma Okonkwo won 6-1, 6-2 and Taylor Cranford 6-0, 6-1 in singles.

Hillgrove (8-3, 5-0) will host Harrison on Thursday.

Harrison 5, Campbell 0: The Lady Hoyas recorded shutouts in four of the five matches and cruised to the Region 4AAAAAA win.

Singles players Meredith Frost, Renee Zalar and Autumn Weakley were all perfect, as was the doubles team of Liz Powers and Jaclyn Black. The team of Mika Sugai and Melissa Bartow won 6-2, 6-1.

Harrison (7-3, 3-1) will travel to Hillgrove on Thursday.

Mount Pisgah Christian 4, Mount Paran Christian 1: The No. 1 doubles team of Abby Darling and Anna Buehler provided the Lady Eagles with their lone point in the Area 4A match.

Darling and Buehler had to battle for the win, though, needing a pair of tiebreakers before winning 7-6 (6), 7-6 (7).

Mount Paran (1-4, 0-3) will host Excel Christian on Thursday.

Whitefield Academy 5, King’s Ridge Christian 0: Though Rachel Hicks had to battle for her win at No. 1 singles, the Lady Wolfpack still got the Area 4A victory.

After splitting the first two sets 6-4 and 4-6, Hicks won a third-set super-tiebreaker 10-7.

Kerry Anna Lemasters and Annie Sickling also won in singles play, as did both doubles teams.

Pope 5, Osborne 0: Four of the Lady Greyhounds’ five points were recorded with shutouts.

The lone game allowed was in Nisha Detchprohm’s win at No. 1 singles.

Katrina King and Eliza-Lee Barnes also won, as did the doubles team of Meghan Matsumoto and Lindsay Roberts, and the team of Sydney Watkins and Erin Walsh.
