Warrant: Marietta woman stole more than $11,000

A Marietta woman is charged with felony theft by taking after she was accused of stealing $11,542.12 from Hancock Fabrics, 2932 Canton Road.

Tera Lashonda Thomas is accused of making between one and six fraudulent returns during shifts while working at the store since Oct. 31, 2013, totaling 152 fraudulent returns.

An arrest warrant said Thomas would tally the amount of the returns and take the cash out of the drawer at the end of each shift.
