Emory-Adventist Hospital will have a session titled “Why Forgive” at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Forgiveness is not a mandate to agree with actions of wrongdoers nor is it an agreement to welcome those individuals back into your life without holding them accountable for their actions. There are physical and psychological benefits to forgiving others and forgiving yourself. The presentation will teach the benefits of forgiveness, how to forgive other and yourself and give you the steps to do so. If you choose to forgive, you can live a healthier, more peaceful life.

The class will be in the hospital cafeteria. The hospital is at 3949 South Cobb Drive, Smyrna.

To register, call (770) 319-2025.
