LaGrange recognizes Pope student

Chip Mattiford of Pope High School was recognized by LaGrange College President Dan McAlexander at the college’s 2014 Presidential Scholarship Day held February 8th. The event honors students who have demonstrated the highest levels of academic achievement and leadership. A four-year liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the United Methodist Church, LaGrange College is consistently ranked in the top 10 among Southern colleges by U.S.News & World Report. The college, an award winner in sustainability, is the oldest private institution of higher learning in Georgia.
