The Cobb County Public Library System will hold its semi-annual book sale this weekend at Jim Miller Park.

Hardcover and paperback books, DVD and VHS movies and children’s books are for sale with prices ranging from 10 cents to $5. Cash and checks are accepted.

Profits will be used to purchase more materials for the 16 libraries in the county’s system. More than $100,000 was raised last year.

The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
