EarthCon adds new project scientist

Marietta-based EarthCon Consultants Inc. announced the addition of Thomas Brian Dugan to the Southeastern Operations as a project scientist. As an environmental scientist and aquatic ecologist, Dugan has spent 13 years in project management with a focus on the scrap recycling and power industries.

In his new role, he will continue to serve the scrap recycling and power industries and help them address wetlands issues, soil and groundwater remediation and compliance issues across the Southeast.

He will also be active in environmental oversight during power line construction activities; as well as conduct wetland delineations, threatened/endangered species surveys and gopher tortoise surveys.

He holds a M.S. in Aquatic Ecology from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa and a B.S. in Marine Science from Jacksonville University.
