Author Larissa Reinhart will discuss character development and humor in mysteries at the Sisters in Crime meeting Saturday from 10:30 to noon at the Smyrna Library.

The meeting is open to the public.

Reinhart writes strong, sassy heroines who get into desperate situations. The author is a believer in happy endings, even if it takes some time and wading through a lot of trouble to get there.

The library is at 100 Village Green Circle, in Smyrna.
