Chapman appointed to NAHB

Developer and builder Jim Chapman, president of Cumberland-based Jim Chapman Communities and Jim Chapman Fine Homes, was appointed to serve as second vice chairman of the 50-plus Housing Council Board of Trustees of the National Association of Home Builders. Chapman recently served as the chairman of the Board of the Atlanta 50-plus Housing Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and currently is on the Board of the 50-plus Housing Council for the National Association of Home Builders.

The 50-plus Housing Council serves the special needs of NAHB members involved in all aspects of 50-plus housing, including design, development, finance, ownership, management, and sales and marketing.

Chapman, an Atlanta native, started his own luxury custom home building firm.
