The city of Kennesaw announced there will be a public meeting March 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive in Kennesaw, to obtain public input about development plans for Swift-Cantrell Park. City officials have been conducting a review of the master plan that was developed in 2006 and led to construction of the park.

The meeting will begin with a brief presentation by the planning consultants to introduce the process and the work to date, followed by a question and answer period. Attendees will be asked to review exhibits, make comments and notes about how the park is used, what features function well and what areas need improvement.

There will also be discussions about the existing master plan, which is available for viewing on the city’s website, kennesaw-ga.gov, and the facilities that are proposed to be added to the park. It is an opportunity to provide valuable input to guide the future of Swift Cantrell Park.
