The Cobb County Public Library System’s next semi-annual book sale will be March 7 to 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and March 9 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Jim R. Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road in Marietta.

Donated items for the book sale include soft-cover and hard-back books, magazines, text books, DVD and VHS movies, and children’s books. Prices range from 10 cents to $5.

Last year, the book sales generated more than $100,000, which enabled the library staff to purchase new materials, including books and DVDs. The March book sale is one of the two large semi-annual sales held yearly.

The library is also seeking book sale volunteers. Volunteers can call Patty Latch at (770) 528-2331.

COBB LIBRARY PROBLEM
|
February 26, 2014
This is a totally screwed up library system and the top 4 are overpaid. You 'donate' your books thinking that they will end up on the shelf and they turn around and sell them! You are better off giving them to a prison, hospital or home for the elderly. Take a look at the problems at: http://cobbcountylibrary.blogspot.com/
