Church plans fish frys every Friday for Lent

Saint Joseph Church of Marietta will play host to Lent family fish dinners every Friday during Lent starting March 7 through April 11 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Dinners will include fried fish, baked fish, blackened fish, fish tacos, French fries, hush puppies, green beans, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, ice tea, lemonade and desserts. Adults beverages will be available.

Cost for adults is $9, children ages 3 to 12 are $5 and children younger than 3 are free. Tickets are available at the door of Marist Hall every Friday during Lent.

The dinners are sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent DePaul Society and St. Joseph Church Outreach programs.

The church is at 87 Lacy St., Marietta.
