JONES, Wanda Sharon
JONES, Wanda Sharon

Wanda Sharon was born in 1948 in Whiteville, NC to the late Belvin and Rachel (McQueen) Morris. The family relocated in 1956 to Tampa, FL seeking improved educational opportunities for a legally blind family member. Starting her career right after High School and relocating to Woodstock, GA in 1982, Sharon enjoyed an approximate 40 year career (Honeywell Tampa Operations 14 years; Rockwell Norcross 5 years; Lockheed Aircraft 20 years) before retiring from Lockheed-Martin in June 2008. Throughout these 40 years, both management and co-workers sought Sharon’s knowledge and skills when the job got tough. Her last work station was installing 1000 plus wires for the majority of the F-22 Raptors produced for the USAF by Lockheed-Martin. Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and a loving grandmother who adored her grandchildren. Sharon’s wit, personality, humor and infectious laugh, were enjoyed by family and friends.
