Church makes 10,236 lunches for kids

About 45 members and friends of Chestnut Ridge Christian Church on Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta gathered at the offices of “Stop Hunger Now” on Jan. 11 and prepared 10,236 lunches for needy children. Under the leadership of the Rev.

Byron Wells, the group did it in one and a half hours.

The church is at 2663 Johnson Ferry Road, east Cobb.
