Faith Partners at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church presents “The Addicted Brain: Why Addiction is a Physical Disease” on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the church chapel.

The presentation was originally scheduled for last week, but was cancelled due to inclement weather.

The presentation will be lead by Dr. Harry Strothers, who is dual certified in geriatrics and family medicine. He will reveal the science behind addictive behavior, focusing on the difficulties that addiction brings to those who suffer from it and those who love someone who is battling addiction.

The church is at 1770 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta. For more information, call the church at (770) 971-1465.
