DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — A police SWAT team is in a standoff with an armed man at an apartment complex near Decatur.

Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said that police were called to the Conservatory at Druid Hills on Friday to investigate a report of gunfire. Police found a woman outside one apartment, but an armed man was still inside.

Authorities said the man has refused to come out of the apartment.
