The Walton Junior Classical League participated in a local Adopt-A-Family program during the holiday season, taking on the task of collecting gifts and necessities for a recent immigrant family.

Student members of the WJCL gift-wrapped different items sought by the family, including shoes, clothes, and other day-to-day needs. This is the second consecutive year that the WJCL, student- run under the supervision of Latin teacher Alan Farnsworth, has participated in “adopting a family” over the holidays.

The WJCL also participates in other community service opportunities through the year.
